Brian graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design in 1998 and since then has combined his love of painting and printmaking in several successful exhibitions, within Cornwall and also in Cork Street, London. He currently lives in Falmouth, where he has his own studio near the river in a disused warehouse. His etchings and drypoints are printed in the St Ives and Penryn Print Studios.

His work is heavily landscape orientated and primarily drawing based. Brian takes elements from many sketches and uses this framework as a structure from which to work intuitively. His palette is restrained, allowing the qualities of line and mark - making to take predominance. This process lends itself well to the process of printmaking.
